Scandinavian Kitchen
Review: This cosy and charming café is situated a less than ten minute walk from the UCL Bloomsbury campus. It serves traditional Scandinavian fare; frikadeller på smørrebrød and köttbullar to name but a few savoury treats. You can also enjoy something sweet with a tea or coffee, try some cakes or pastries.
The real nice touch about this place though is the grocery section at the back, which as recently been expanded. Here you can pick up Scandi favourites such as pickled herrings or knäckebröd.
The prices might limit the amount of visits to Scandi Kitchen you can have in one week, but with the outgoing and superbly friendly staff, a great atmosphere and great selection of food you’ll definitely become a regular. To help ease the pricing pain, we’ve teamed up with those crazy guys to offer Nordic Society members a free tea or coffee with lunch. See, they’re nice guys aren’t they?
